Progress
Since this is a continuation of Project 2, I went ahead and created a full storyboard for Project 3 using the old one as a base.

I made an animatic per usual to see if the new storyboard and sound that I've chosen was a good fit or not.

_________
Once I was done with making the storyboard & animatic, I went ahead and continued with the progression of Project 3. I started with the "Love you like nobody else" Scene since that's the start of the change from Project 2 to Project 3.
Using the Shape & Pen tool, I've created a cartoon human; I've also changed the Layer Styles of the circle head to Inner Shadow to achieve the gradient underneath the head for more depth. I've also used the Pen tool to create a curved line for the words to follow and to match the line for a more cohesive look.
This Scene is from the "I Know that I'm Punchin'" lyrics. I decided that instead of a person getting punched by another person, I wanted the words "PUNCHIN'" to be the one punching the person. Using the Positions & the line Start & End function, I made the line stop specifically in front of the word and then keyframed the word towards the person at a fast speed to simulate punching.
To add more effect, I made the person's eyes visible to show distress when looking to the left and seeing the words come closer and 'X's appear after being punched and falling over like the original intent of the storyboard.
This Scene is from the "You" lyrics. I wanted to use the 3D camera as a way to test my skills again after the Week 5 Practical and the hearts are also in different positions to create a depth-of-field look.
This Scene is from the "And I Like You-ou-ou-ou-ou-ou" lyrics. I continued to use the 3D Camera for smooth transitions especially when the transitions require fast movement with many words. I've positioned the words accordingly to ensure that all of them can be seen despite the different 3D positioning.

REFLECTION
For this project, I've felt that I've genuinely improved a lot from the past few weeks to being able to create a full-fledged kinetic typography music video. I've always been inspired to create my own but I never had a chance to do it since I was never taught about it until now so I've basically achieved a small part of my dream of being better at editing! Even though I started off with no ideas whatsoever and the added bonus of artblock, I was able to complete my workload and pass it in despite my mind telling me no; I also have to thank Mr Fauzi for encouraging me to not think about it too much and do what I can and want during this period despite the challenges I'm facing. I've also felt more motivated after seeing my classmates' works as they looked really cool and from the references I've found; I've essentially told myself that I may not be as good as them but being able to do what I could was already encouraging me enough. Overall, this was a fantastic experience and I'm grateful that I was able to learn a lot of stuff on my own and with guidance. I will try to do better in my future projects using the new-found knowledge that I've gained.
