I learned how to use the keyframes from Week 10's After Effects practice and used the best of my ability to make an animation that I liked. I also had to search on youtube on how to create some of the effects like the smoke and flying dust particles because I didn't know you were able to download different effects of the web and apply them in After Effects. Fig 1.1, Progress of final animated self-titled poster The idea was similar to my description of the digital poster where I want my emotions to come out and show themselves...

And then there's the part of your brain that will always tell you, "I want to do this." The key is basically to be indecisive. I want to exploit that indecisiveness and make it a feeling that is okay by today’s societal standards. It's acceptable to occasionally let your doubts hold you back and that the person in the middle, yourself, will always be the person to hold you down and stand...

12/6/2023 (Week 11) Seh Zi Qi/ 0355872/ Bachelor of Design(Honours) in Creative Media Module Name: Digital Photography & Imaging  Week 11 LIST Weekly Lectures & Major Projects Consultation CONSULTATION _______________ Self-tilted (Sketches & Digitisation) After the research, I sketched out some ideas where the photography has either 2 or more sides of emotions, which portrays what I had researched and wanted to achieve. I mostly went with ideas 2 and 3 for my inspiration. Fig 1.1, Sketches of idea development Both sketches play into the happy and sad trope when it comes to indecisiveness and how it differs, where each side has its own way of being portrayed, like how the happy side shows me being put together. Once I had gotten feedback from Mr Fauzi, he said that maybe using the 2nd sketch, I would be able to fuse if not have myself in the middle to create a focal point for the viewers as well as tell a better story. I also went to take photos in the studio at our scho...

Non-exotic and non-extraordinary , no need to think outside the box as that is "not real". Surrealism: A twist on Realism. Explores the subconscious mind , with subject matters concentrating on dream images and often aims to distort the ordinary and what we call reality. Defies logic , a cultural movement focused on the types of art that express the artist's ideas themselves. How to start creating Surrealism artworks: Dream-like scenes and symbolic images Unexpected, illogical juxtapositions Bizarre assemblages of ordinary objects Primitive or ch...

Typically, they have silhouettes and may appear challenging at first, but you can use a few alternative methods to make double exposures like using Adobe Photoshop, so you don't need a double-exposure camera. You can do anything you want in the world of editing and ordinary photos can be turned into potent works of art. Different types of double exposure: Tilt-shift effect:  Turn images into soft works of art. Blurring one of the photos instead of the entire image. To add this effect: Filter > Blur Gallery > Tilt-Shift . Fake Reflection: Use a different window photo to create a double exposur...
